Internet giants place full-page anti-SOPA ad in NYT

Google, Facebook, Mozilla, Zynga, eBay, Twitter, Yahoo, LinkedIn, and AOL put an ad in the New York Times. They say they support the Stop Online Piracy Act, but say they can’t support it as written. The bills as drafted would expose law-abiding U.S. Internet companies to new and uncertain technology mandates, they say. They ask that Congress consider more targeted ways to combat foreign “rogue” websites dedicated to copyright infringement and counterfeiting, while preserving innovation and dynamism.”]
