The Information Security Workshop in Echigo-Yuzawa 2013 took place during 11-12 October. The event was held in a location that is famous for its hot springs. Among attendees were security specialists, malware researchers, police officials, government officials and prominent professors. 15 college students also participated in the event as operational staff. It was a great opportunity to meet key people in IT security, as well as to exchange information and opinion on cybercrime in Japan.
