Infected Games on Google Play Threatened Players with Nasty Trojan

ESET labs detected arcade games that install the Trojan as Android/TrojanDropper.Mapin and Android/Mapin. Trojan is capable of taking control of the victims device and make it part of a botnet. The Trojan pretends to be a Google Play Update or an application named Manage Settings. It may also be one of the reasons why the TrojanDownloader was able to evade Googles Bouncer malware prevention system, says Lukas Stefanko, Malware Researcher at ESET.”]
