IISFA is the organization that awards the Certified Information Forensics Investigator (CIFI) Certification. The most recent news item at iisfa.org dates from April 2005. Richard Bejtlich has received mutliple renewal notices regarding his IISF membership. He says he does not get the impression that IIsFA is offering much of value to him. He plans to let membership lapse and my CIFI standing disappear. He has tried sending this response to multiple email addresses.”]
