If you block ads, then websites may block you, warned advertising exec

Adblock Plus, Reddit, Customer Commons, PageFair and The Anti-Advertising Agency sign “Acceptable Ads Manifesto” Interactive Advertising Bureau wants people and organizations to sign the manifesto. Some sites experience “less than 5%” of users blocking ads, some sites experience less than 5% of users. Ad blockers are the devil and will be the reason why more websites will wall-off content from surfers who block ads, says CNET’s Mike Zaneis. “The next logical solution is that people give away content and services to those using ad blockers””]
