ICSA wants to test endpoint security products

ICSA Labs is seeking industry input as it creates test criteria for endpoint security products. The lab has created the Endpoint Security Consortium to help devise the set of tests. So far it has enlisted AVG, McAfee and Microsoft to its cause. ICSA has already drawn up a draft of the criteria that it plans to use in certifying these products, and the consortium is reviewing it. Its mission is to draw up criteria against which to test products including anti-malware, personal firewalls and host IDS software.”]
