IBM turns 100 this year. A few well-known Hollywood directors have shot a series of three movies that highlight the company. The films look back from IBM’s earliest developments in computers to the ubiquitous bar codes on everyday products to the breakthroughs in computer science that have changed the world. The first film, “100 x 100,” features 100 people who describe an IBM achievement that took place the year they were born. The second film, shot by Oscar-winning documentary director Errol Morris with music by famed composer Philip Glass, examines the leaders and inventors behind some of IBM’s most noteworthy contributions.”]
