Huge Hack Hits 4 Million British Broadband Customers

British broadband provider TalkTalk has admitted that 4 million customers’ names, addresses, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers and bank details may have been stolen by hackers. Police have described the DDoS attack as ‘significant and sustained’ It’s believed that a Russian group is behind the hack, with the BBCs Rory Cellan-Jones tweeting a message from the group claiming to be responsible.
