Experts Recover AES256 Encryption Key From a PC’s Electromagnetic Emissions

Device deduces encryption keys using electromagnetic emissions coming from a nearby computer. Device is small enough to fit in a jacket pocket, a laptop case, or any other inconspicuous bag. Device exploits a side-channel attack known as “Van Eck phreaking”” and was specifically built to recover the encryption key from AES256 algorithms. Device only tested in an isolated test environment
