MioTech announced that HSBC has invested in the company in an additional financing round to its Series B. The investment was made by HSBC’s Strategic Innovation Investments team, a corporate venture capital unit which takes minority holdings in early stage technology companies. It will also develop more software to address the climate and sustainability challenges faced by financial institutions, corporations and governments. The company has already expanded its environmental, social and governance (ESG) data coverage to over a million public and private companies in the Greater China region.
