HP rolls out patch to fix keylogging bug in certain laptops

A bug in the audio driver of more than two dozen HP laptops has been found to be a keylogger. The problem is affecting certain HP laptops made since 2015. HP has released a patch to fix the bug, which affects laptops made in 2016 and 2017. The fix will remove the bug and delete the log file that was storing keystrokes in the PC’s audio driver. HP will publish publish patches on Friday for units from 2015 and 2016 laptops made from 2015, it said.”]
