Hackers have stolen the details of at least 500 million Yahoo accounts, the largest data breach ever. Yahoo said that the “vast majority” of the stolen account passwords were hashed with bcrypt. But Yahoo’s wording suggests that not all, but not all passwords, have been hashed. The safest option at this point is to consider your email compromised, so the safest option is to keep it safe. Be careful when asked for your personal details, such as dates of birth and security questions and answers.”]
