Chrome users can enable Google Chrome’s redesigned built-in PDF reader. Chrome 87 was released last week with numerous performance improvements but no new features. Chrome’s updated PDF viewer now includes a side panel that allows you to quickly preview a PDF’s content and find the page you want. Google is now allowing users to adjust the zoom or fit to screen feature directly from the top bar. The tab bar is visible at all times, so you can easily access the action buttons. Google should be rolling out the new PDF reader feature in the coming weeks.
