Hackers are offering for sale healthcare databases on the The Real Deal underground market on the dark web. Hackers steal data and then threaten to publicly release it unless a fee is paid. The hacker, going by the name The Dark Lord, says he’s not feeling bad or guilty about any of this. He shared with me 47,865 records he claims he obtained from the clinic’s network. The records include, for example, full addresses, birth dates, Social Security Numbers, marital status and phone numbers.”]
