Heartbleed: Gov. Agencies Respond

Government agencies in the U.S., Canada are reacting to the Heartbleed bug. The Department of Homeland Security warns that malicious actors could exploit un-patched systems. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. urges financial institutions to use resources to combat threats tied to the bug. Canada’s Canada Revenue Agency temporarily shut down public access to its online services, halting online tax returns until the situation has been remedied. The IRS advises taxpayers to continue filing their tax returns as they normally would in advance of April 15 deadline.”]
