A reported malware alert for The Moscow Times turned out to be just that after the newspaper told readers to bypass the “fake warning” A few days ago, several people began reporting a malware alert (Google Safe Browsing) whenever they visited the papers website. This prompted the paper’s owners to release a statement on Facebook: We will fix this asap, but in the meantime please ignore the alerts and proceed to the website. A pornographic ad also was injected with a malicious iframe (second malvertising!)”]
