Hacktivists, cybercriminals switch to Telegram after Russian invasion

The number of Telegram groups has increased sixfold since February 24, according to a report from cybersecurity company Check Point. Hacktivists and cybercriminals are using Telegram to organize cyber-warfare operations in Ukraine. The IT Army of Ukraine is one of the main groups gaining in popularity all of a sudden as a direct result of the Russian invasion in the country. Unverified news channels that bypass mainstream outlets and post unedited, uncensored feeds from the war zone are also gaining popularity.”]
