Hackers claim $10,000 prize for breaking into StrongWebmail

Telesign challenged hackers to break into its StrongWebmail.com Web site and report back details from his June 26 calendar entry. Security researchers claim to have won the contest, which gave them US$10,000 prize. The hackers, led by Secure Science Chief Scientist Lance James, provided details from CEO Darren Berkovitz’s calendar. The contest rules prevent the researchers from disclosing how they performed their attack, but they were also able to compromise a test account set up by IDG News Service.”]
