Hacker Steals $8.4 Million in Ethereum (4th Heist In A Month)

An unknown hacker has just stolen nearly $8.4 million worth of Ether from Veritaseum’s ICO. The theft is the fourth of four of the most valuable cryptocurrencies in the world. The hacker made off an estimated $8.4 million in Ether (ETH) from its ICO this Sunday, July 23. Veritasesum founder Reggie Middleton says the stolen tokens belonged to him and his team members. Middleton has called the recent attack “inconsequential,” saying some of his partners may be responsible for the attack.
