Hacker hijacks thousands of publicly exposed printers to warn owners

Hackers forced thousands of publicly exposed printers to print rogue messages. Hackers claim to be a high-school student from the U.K. who is interested in security research. The hacker claims to have exploited an undisclosed remote command execution (RCE) vulnerability in the web management interface of Xerox printers. He estimates that up to 150,000 printers were affected by his effort, but claims he has access to more RCE flaws that he didn’t use and which would have allowed him to print over 300,000.”]
