Hacker Defacing 11,000 US Websites Faces 10 Years behind Bars

Billy Ribeiro Anderson, 41, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of computer fraud. He faces up to 10 years in prison for defacing more than 11,000 US websites. Anderson, also known as Anderson Albuquerque and AlfabetoVirtual, was accused of defacing military, government and various business websites. The NYC Comptroller and Combating Terrorism Center at West Point websites were hacked by Anderson using various vulnerabilities, ranging from plugin vulnerabilities to cross-site scripting, in order to post political messages.”]
