A hacker who calls himself “Comodohacker” said he could have used digital certificates stolen from a Dutch firm to issue fake updates to Windows PCs. Microsoft said last weekend that the certificates from DigiNotar weren’t enough to deliver actual updates. Microsoft has blocked their use within Windows with an update that shipped Tuesday. The certificates have been revoked and Microsoft has revoked them from use within the operating system with the latest version of the software update released this week. “I can issue updates via windows update!
