John McAfee, founder of the anti-virus product bearing his name, is running for president in the 2016 U.S. presidential race. The self-described “eccentric millionaire” says his campaign platform will touch on information security, privacy and surveillance. McAfee filed Form 2 – required to register as a 2016 presidential candidate – with the Federal Election Commission on Sept. 8.
