Guess Fashion Deals With Data Loss, Post-Ransomware

Ransomware attack on fashion label Guess compromised personal and banking data of 1,300 victims. Guess has started sending letters to employees and contractors who had their data exposed during the attack. The fashion label is linked to Colonial Pipeline attackers DarkSide. The data includes account numbers, debit- and credit-card numbers, and even the related security codes, access codes and personal identification numbers. The breach notification letter offers victims a year of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection. DarkSide bragged it had stolen more than 200 GB of data from the mall stalwart.
