Groups urge Obama to oppose cyberthreat sharing bills

Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISPA) would allow the sharing of too much personal information. The bill would allow businesses to share cyberthreat information with each other and with government agencies. A coalition of digital rights and security experts signed a letter to Obama urging him to veto the bill. CISPA is similar to a bill that failed to become law in the U.S. Congress in 2013, which was passed by the House of Representatives without a vote on it. CISA supporters say the bill is necessary for the government to respond to cyberattacks.”]
