Tumblr went down for more than two hours Wednesday afternoon. A new hacking group is taking credit for a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that took down Tumblr this week. The site was first reported offline shortly after 3:15pm ET. The group claims they are not motivated by money and have no sinister motive for the attack.
