Group behind WannaCry now using three new malware variants, U.S. Department of Homeland Security says. The Lazarus Group is suspected of carrying out a series of high-profile attacks, including the Sony Pictures hack of 2014 as well as the Wannacry ransomware attacks of 2017. The alert comes during the week of the three-year anniversary of the attacks. In April, the government announced a $5 million reward for information about suspected North Korean-sponsored attacks.
