Magecart is umbrella name for cybercriminal gangs that have been planting JavaScript skimmers, also known as JavaScript sniffers or JS sniffers, on dozens of retail sites over the past several years. Skimmer has been active since 2015, but new variant was discovered after it compromised Boom! Mobile’s website in October.
