Google says it will be (a little) less evil over vulnerability disclosure

Google has released proof-of-concept code demonstrating how to exploit vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows and OS X. The technology giant has now said it is adjusting its policy with a 14-day grace period. The media should always be the preferred mechanism for getting software bug fixed if a vendor is being too slow, rather than putting members of the internet community at risk.”]
