Google Safe Browsing gives more details to compromised website owners

Google is providing more information to website owners whose online properties are temporarily blocked as unsafe by its Safe Browsing technology. Google’s technology is used to steer users away from websites that host malicious or deceptive content. The problem is that many websites hosting malware or bad ads don’t do so intentionally but were hacked by attackers. Google has updated the information available in its Search Console service to provide clearer explanations about six types of security issues that could be detected on a website, the company said in a blog post Tuesday.”]
