Google needs to fix its privacy policy, U.K. data watchdog says

UK Information Commissioners Office has warned Google to change its privacy policy before 20 September. Google has combined more than 70 previous policies across its various products into one. The ICO believes the policy doesn’t comply with the UK Data Protection Act. A fine – which could be up to 500,000 – is unlikely to be imposed by Google, although a fine is unlikely. The search giant has no option for users to opt out of the policy, which has no opt-out option.”]
