Google has fixed several serious security vulnerabilities in Chrome 33. The company’s Chrome browser is always at the top of the target list for hackers. Pwn2Own hacking competition at CanSecWest this week is set to begin Wednesday and run through Thursday. Google likely will be releasing more patches for Chrome later this week as researchers demonstrate their new exploits. Google also runs its own Pwnium contest, which offers large rewards for new attacks against Chrome, IE, Safari and Adobe Reader and Flash.
