Google opens its Web application store for Chrome browser users on Tuesday. The store offers highly interactive, graphically rich applications from a variety of sources. Google also announced a new technology called Crankshaft that will accelerate the performance of Javascript applications on the Chrome browser. The first Chrome OS netbooks running the OS will come in the first half of next year from Acer and Samsung.
