Good anti-Mirai worm is pulled from Github following backlash

Leo Linskys anti-worm worm has disappeared from Github. The code is designed to spread like a worm, breaking into vulnerable web-connected cameras and other devices to change their default login credentials and thus protect them from future attack. Linsky warned that the code should only be used in closed research environments. The rest of Linsky’s code repositories remain available for download from Github, but some in the security community (including me) expressed concerns about the code.”]
