An elaborate fraudster ring stole PII then allegedly used DoD and VA benefits portals to steal payments and funds from bank accounts. The PII included names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth and contact information. The scam affected 442 service members from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps and swindled them out of more than $560,000. Robert Wayne Boling Jr., Trorice Crawford, Allan Albert Kerr and Jongmin Seok are in custody in the Philippines awaiting extradition.
