GitHub Adds Code Scanning for Automatic Security-Hole Searches

GitHub, the largest host of source code in the world, has added a new feature that could make the world wide web a safer place for everyone. The code scanning tool is free to use for developers working on public repositories. GitHub and its community have already added 2,000+ queries to automatically scan code in real-time and notify a developer that theyve missed a known security hole before an individuals contributions are merged with a broader project.
