Gartner to Businesses: Eliminate Windows XP by 2012

Support for Windows XP will end on July 13, 2012. Support for the current version of the operating system is set to end this year. Windows 7 will also end support for the older version of Windows XP in April 2014. The software will no longer be available to download and update for the new generation of computers.
