Angel Cruz has been named Director of Information Protection at Freescale Semiconductor, recently launched by Motorola. Cruz was previously Director for Information Security at the University of Texas in Austin. He holds the CISSP and CISM certifications. He has also held positions with the US Navy and in technical management with the U.S. Navy.
