The release of Ice Lake 3rd Gen Intel processors makes further, large-scale commercial applications of confidential computing possible. Fortanix Confidential computing protects applications and the sensitive data they process from unauthorized access and tampering at runtime, extending the security already in place for data at-rest and in-motion across the network. New Intel Ice Lake processors will now enable larger scale applications that leverage larger data sets that leverage cloud computing to solve cloud security and privacy issues.
