President Obama tapped former national security adviser Tom Donilon and IBM CEO Sam Palmisano to head new cybersecurity panel. The bipartisan, government-industry panel will provide recommendations to strengthen public and private sectors’ IT security. The commission has a Dec. 1 deadline to produce a report that will advise Obama and the next president on steps to improve cybersecurity. The panel will have up to a dozen members, all appointed by the president, all members of Congress and the White House. The other commission members have not been revealed and the president did not mention who recommended the leaders.”]
