Following FireEye Hack, Ensure These 16 Bugs Are Patched

Cybersecurity firm FireEye says nation-state hackers stole its penetration testing tools. The tools are designed to target specific vulnerabilities for which patches have already been released. The oldest flaw being targeted was first reported in 2014, Cisco Talos Intelligence has listed 16 vulnerabilities. Some of the tools are publicly available tools modified to evade basic security detection mechanisms. The attacker can use the information to refine their tactics, techniques and procedures in numerous other attacks or campaigns, warns retired Brigadier Gen. Greg Touhill.”]
