Focus incident response on process MTD

The probability of a single process failing is much higher than losing your data center to a catastrophic event. To enable recovery from these localized events, each business process design should include a process-level BCP. Ensuring process interruption doesnt exceed its defined maximum tolerable downtime (MTD) is a key element of its business continuity plan. The period between interruption and the point at which full recovery from business impact is no longer possible is the MTD. For example, if a server fails, and electronic processing of information isn’t possible, manual processes should exist to continue.”]
