Flurry of new Mac malware drops in December

Malwarebytes’ Adam Thomas found a malicious copy of Discord, an app for gamers to communicate with other gamers, but it was actually an Automator script that did nothing for the user. The malware is a copy-and-paste job from a proof-of-concept published by Adam Chester back in February. It is not a malicious-modified copy of the Discord app, which it could easily do as a subterfuge to make it easier to make a legitimate version of the app. It does nothing at all to pretend that it is a legit-fuge.”]
