Flight simulator add-on used malware to steal pirates’ passwords

Flight Sim Labs’ A320-X add-on included malware to harvest Chrome Password Dump tool. The company claims the tool was only used to identify pirate copies of software obtained illegally. FSLabs says the tool is part of the company’s anti-piracy efforts. It has replaced the installer in question and promises to rectify the issue with those offended. The issue first flared up on Reddit over the weekend after crankyrecursion discovered that the installer for the $100 addition-on by Flight Sim Lab included malware.”]
