The Cyber Security Industry Alliance released its National Agenda for Cyber Security in 2006 on Tuesday. The Administration and Congress received a grade of D or below on 7 of the 12 recommendations and earned a C on four others. The recommendations include passage of a national data breach notification bill; promotion of infosecurity governance in the private sector; and the completion of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), which calls for one interoperable ID card to be issued to all federal employees and contractors with access to sensitive information.”]
