A new malware called “UpdateChecker”” is being distributed as a fake update to Adobe Flash Player. The malware includes an adware component that displays a popup ad every 60 minutes. The default setting is to show advertisements 24 times a day at 60 minute intervals. The ads that are displayed will be for unwanted chrome extensions
