Criminals will pose as legitimate job recruiters or agents of employment agencies and will bait potential victims with the promise of fake employment and a better life. The traffickers will use their targets’ stories as the base for well-planned attacks via the Internet, convincing them that they want to be helpful or that they are interested in a relationship.
