FBI pursuit of Stuxnet leaks reignites whistleblower debate

The FBI is ramping up its efforts to find out who leaked information about the Stuxnet worm used to attack Iranian nuclear facilities in 2010. The Washington Post reports that the intensity of that probe has increased in recent weeks. The Obama administration’s aggressive pursuit of those who leak classified information has reignited debate over privacy rights. A consultant on privacy says that is a good thing, but there are risks to individual privacy in the U.S. Cyber Risk CEO Jody Westby supports the investigation.”]
