Ransomware is being used to hack victims’ computers and steal their data. The FBI has issued a warning that the software is being targeted by criminals. The software is known as “Ransomware” and has been used in the U.S. since April. The agency is urging victims not to pay up to $2,000 for the software to be released to the public to stop the malware from being used in their computers.
