FakeSpy Android Malware Disguised as Postal Service Messages, Cybereason says. Operators behind an updated version of the malware are targeting Android devices using SMS phishing messages to spread the info stealer. The information stealer is capable of exfiltrating data, including financial and contact details, from the device. The latest version has a larger target list that includes the U.S. and Europe, the security firm says. The malware uses a mobile device feature called sendAll to send SMS messages to the victim’s other contacts.”]
